  • Drospirenone with Ethinyl Estradiol (Ethinylestradiol) - trade names include Yasmin, Yaz, Crisanta, Dahlia, Dronis, Gianvi, Loryna, Miafem, Nikki, Ocella, Petibelle, Syeda, Vestura, Yarina, Yasmin CD, Yasmin Diario, Yasminelle, Yasminiq, Zarah - is an oral hormonal birth control (contraceptive) medication from fixed combined progestogens and estrogens pharmacological group. This medicine in both dosages 3 mg / 0.02 mg and 3 mg / 0.03 mg of drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol per pill is used for the prevention of pregnancy in women who elect to use an oral contraceptive.
    The dosage of drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol 3 mg / 0.02 mg per tablets is also indicated for the therapy of symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) in women who choose to use an oral contraceptive as their method of contraception; and for the treatment of moderate acne vulgaris in women at least 14 years of age, who have no known contraindications to oral contraceptive therapy and have achieved menarche.
