Conjugated Estrogens (CEs) or Conjugated Equine Estrogens (CEEs) - trade names include Premarin, Conjugase, Conpremin, Elrredin, Estroplus, Presomen 28, Primax, Six Din - is a hormonal medication from combination of estrogens pharmacological group. This medicine is indicated for menopausal hormone therapy in postmenopausal women who have had a hysterectomy for the treatment of moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms (hot flashes), vulvovaginal atrophy (atrophic vaginitis, atrophic urethritis), itching, burning, dryness of the vagina and surrounding areas; hypoestrogenism due to hypogonadism, ovariectomy, primary ovarian failure, abnormal uterine bleeding, for high-dose estrogen therapy of breast cancer in both women and men, prostate cancer in men, the prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis.
