This medicine is used for the treatment of open-angle glaucoma and high eyes pressure (ocular hypertension). It works by decreasing intraocular pressure.
    In solid pharmaceutical forms such as oral tablets Timolol Maleate is also indicated to treat hypertension (high blood pressure), angina (chest pain), to prevent heart attacks and migraine headache.
    In its topical gel form it is prescribes on the skin for the therapy of infantile hemangiomas.
