  • Cyclophosphamide (trade names include Cytoxan, Cyclovid, Cycloxan, Cyphos, Endoxan, Genuxal, Neophos, Procytox, Sendoxan) is an antineoplastic and immunomodulating medication from nitrogen mustard analogues pharmacological group. This medicine is used for the treatment of breast cancer, brain cancer, lymphoma, leukemia, sarcoma, osteosarcoma, neuroblastoma, multiple myeloma, bladder cancer, ovarian cancer, testicular cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, prostate cancer, small and non-small cell lung cancer, Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, Wilms' tumor, some solid tumors, mycosis fungoides, autoimmune diseases, systemic lupus erythematosus with severe lupus nephritis, pemphigoid, bullous pemphigoid, pemphigus, minimal change disease, severe rheumatoid arthritis, Goodpasture syndrome, Cogan's syndrome, multiple sclerosis, systemic sclerosis, scleroderma, dermatomyositis, histiocytosis, IgA nephropathy, nephrotic syndrome, AL amyloidosis, granulomatosis with polyangiitis, Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), for prophylaxis of rejection during and after organ transplantation, in veterinary medicine, and for other medical conditions. It mainly works as a metabolite phosphoramide mustard.
