Baclofen is also used to treat dystonia, cervical dystonia, muscle twitching, spasticity, spinal spasticity, chronic muscle spasticity, spastic movement disorders, hiccups, alcoholism, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, drug addiction, Huntington's disease, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, periodic limb movement disorder, cluster-tic syndrome, temporomandibular joint disorder, neuralgia, trigeminal neuralgia, for migraine prevention, as pain relief medication, and for other medical purposes. It works as GABA receptor agonist.
