This medicine in cream, gel, suppositories, other topical and local forms is used to relieve inflammation caused by skin disorders, such as skin inflammation, allergic reactions, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, swelling, skin redness, itching, pruritus, insect bites, heat rash, nappy rash, allergic rashes, haemorrhoids, rectal or anal fissure and fistula, anal itchiness. In systemic and other pharmaceutical forms it is also indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory conditions, adrenogenital syndrome, adrenocortical insufficiency, Addisonian crisis (Addison's disease), hypercalcemia (high blood calcium), thyroiditis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, Crohn's disease, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis, ulcerative proctitis, shock, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), allergic reactions, anaphylaxis, angioedema, as an immunosuppressive drug, in veterinary medicine, and for other medical conditions.
