This medicine in topical forms is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory skin disorders (including allergic reactions, eczema, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, penile phimosis, other skin problems that may cause itching, redness and swelling), hay fever, allergic rhinitis. Mometasone Furoate in nasal spray pharmaceutical form is prescribed for various nasal allergy conditions, perennial rhinitis, nasal congestion, discharge, pruritus, sneezing, nasal polyps, adenoid hypertrophy. In inhalation form it is used for the management of asthma. This drug works by reducing inflammatory reactions and modifying immune reactions in the body.
