  • Griseofulvin (trade names include Grifulvin, Grifulvin V, Fulvicin, Fulcin, Fulvina, Gricin, Gris O.D., Gris ODT, Grisactin, Grisefuline, Griseo, Griseofulvina, Grisoral, Grisovin, Gris-PEG, Grivin, Likuden, Microcidal, Sporostatin, Ulvin) is an antifungal medication from dermatological antifungals for topical and systemic use pharmacological groups which helps your organism fight against fungal problems. This medicine acts against fungal invasions just like a normal antibiotic would do against a bacterial infection. Griseofulvin is used to treat fungal infections of skin, hair, nails, scalp, such as dermatophytosis (ringworm), fingernail and toenail onychomycosis, tinea barbae, tinea capitis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis; in veterinary medicine. It kills fungal microorganisms by blocking mitosis and some metabolic processes in fungal cell walls.
