Betamethasone Dipropionate with Clotrimazole (trade names include Lotrisone, Lotriderm, Beta-Micoter, Clotrasone, Clotrimin-B, Flotiran, Lotricomb, Lotrisone, Micomazol B) is a combined dermatological medication from corticosteroids and antifungals pharmacological groups. This medicine is used for the treatment of fungal infections of the feet, groin and body, such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm. Lotrisone should be used for fungal infections that are inflamed and have symptoms of redness and/or itching. Indications include symptomatic inflammatory tinea cruris, tinea pedis, tinea corporis due to Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton rubrum, Epidermophyton floccosum in people 17 years of age and older. Clotrimazole works by inhibiting the growth of fungus on the skin. Betamethasone reduces fungal infection symptoms such as itching, swelling, redness.
