This medicine is used for the treatment of various medical conditions, such as skin diseases, allergic disorders, inflammatory conditions, endocrine (hormonal) disorders, autoimmune diseases, certain blood disorders, rheumatic disorders, breathing disorders, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchial inflammation, acute bronchitis, croup, shock, allergic rhinitis, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, adrenogenital syndrome, ulcerative colitis, lupus, systemic lupus erythematosus, acne, pimples, dermatitis, psoriasis, plaque psoriasis, dermatologic lesion, certain cancers, tumor, multiple sclerosis, transverse myelitis, tuberculosis, vestibular neuronitis, neuralgia, Crohn's disease; to prevent the body from rejecting the embryos for a cycle of in vitro fertilization; for immunosuppression; in veterinary medicine; for some other diseases and medical disorders.
