This medicine is used to treat high blood pressure (HBP, hypertension) in adults and children, heart failure in adults, diabetic kidney disease. It is also prescribed for patients with post-myocardial infarction who have had a heart attack to improve the chance of living longer after a heart attack or myocardial infarction in adults.
